Forbidden Forest || Emmey and Rae

prettyemmavanity:

Rae’s eyes widen as her body responds to Emmey’s touches.  Blood hell if Emmeline Vance wasn’t the death of her.  Rae sucks in breath after breath just thinking to herself over and over, don’t forget to breathe Emma Rae.  At Emmey’s question, Rae’s eyes narrow.

“That’s something, alright, Emmey,” she whispers.

Emmey could see the desire in Rae’s eyes. She couldn’t deny the tremor she felt in her own fingers as they traced her body. Rae’s physique was the definition of perfection; Emmey took her time, enjoying every moment. It had been too long since she’d felt skin like this. Skin that cried out to be touched and ravaged. It longed for hands that knew where they were supposed to touch, Emmey could sense it and listened quietly — all the while getting turned on herself. She brought her hand up to Rae’s face and traced her lips with her finger all the while biting her own bottom lip.

Emmey grabbed Rae hard on the hips and pulled her close. “You want me,” she said quietly, “you want me to make you squirm.”

It was obvious that this meeting will not be a dull one. She had been waiting for someone like Rae for a long time. Blunt personality and follows her desires no matter the cost.

Catching up // Frank and Lily

A sad look took over her face, but she understood completely. She had messed things up, and he didn’t believe her along with everyone else. It wasn’t surprising, just disappointed. She had hoped he was different in some way, that he would see through the superficial accusations that she liked James to the fact that she didn’t, that she would never actually cheat on anyone, that her point needed to be made. But no. Sighing, she spoke up, her voice still quiet. “I’m sorry.” She’d said it before, and it wasn’t going to do anything, but it was honest. “Do you want me to… leave you?” That question was a problem. She and Frank had never formally defined their relationship, so she couldn’t ask if he wanted to break up, and then there was the fine line between whether he would still accept her as a friend or not, and she wasn’t sure what to say. She didn’t want to abandon him, especially not while he was going through all of the stuff with his mum.

"N-no. I don’t want you to leave me alone," he said surprisingly. But the truth was, he didn’t want to be alone. He did want her to stay. Her. Despite everything, he wanted her to stay. No one else could understand what all he was dealing with. And he didn’t want his business being strewn about the castle. But was that the only reason he wanted HER to stay? He couldn’t be entirely sure. A part of him wanted to reach out for her hand, but as he slowly did, he stopped himself. He didn’t know what was right. Should be listen to her? Is she telling the truth? Then he realized that he had to have an answer to something first: “What the hell are or were or whatever — what are we?”

Catching up // Frank and Lily

ms-lily-evans-rp:

She stayed in place, watching as he fixed his hair, removed his sweater, rearranged his shirt, and moved to the fireplace. She wasn’t sure if he was in a surreal state or deep concentration. It scared her that she didn’t know what he was thinking. She hated the unknown, especially in this moment. She didn’t know what was going on in any sector of her life except for her classes. All of her friendships seemed to have shifted for some reason or another.

After the silence had become deafening and nothing had happened, he just stood there, staring into the fire for way too many minutes, and she in place for just as long, Lily decided she needed to speak up. He needed to tell her what he was thinking if anything, good or bad, was to be accomplished. “Frank, please. Tell me what you’re thinking.”

He kept staring at the fire. He felt safe there in its glow. It was virtually hypnotizing. She had asked him what he was thinking. That’s all she said, “Tell me what you’re thinking” — truth was that he didn’t know what exactly to say in this moment.

He looked at Lily with a somber face. He walked toward her, with his hands in his pockets. “You want to know what I’m thinking?” I’m thinking about how messed up this whole thing is. Things are hard enough at home and then I come to school and get hurt by a girl that I never thought I could call mine. I’m hurt, Lily. Is that what you want to hear? I don’t know what to do anymore. About anything. I need help. I need to slow things down. I just need—” he cut himself off. Frank cleared his throat but still can’t get rid of the lump in his throat.

He wants her to hold him. He wanted someone to hold him so that he could get some of the tension in his shoulders out. Instead, he stands up perfectly straight, moved his shoulders back. Something about Lily had him wanting to hold her. But he simply couldn’t. Not now.

"I think that’s all I have to say for now. I think," he said quietly.

It’s smashing. My cat is very friendly. And she doesn’t hiss or meow. She mostly just eats and sleeps. But it’s still nice. I guarantee you’ll have a brilliant time with Bertha and I. Yes.. Her name is Bertha.. Mum named her. She told me it was a popular muggle name. And she really loves the muggle style. But the record players are beautiful, I’m glad I managed to bring one along. Though, it takes up lots of space. But it’s worth it. Muggle bands are unique.

Bertha sounds lovely. I can’t wait to meet her. And um, record players and bands, huh? Can you explain that to me a bit?

Yeah, drama. Hopefully it won’t follow me around long. Maybe I should hide in the library from time to time. Would you want some company once in a while?

Haha, Yeah you should. Barely anyone goes there. Of course I can, I have tea and a nice cat. I’m practically the most popular girl in the castle. *Laughs*

Quiet, tea and a cat sounds brilliant. Difference pace than I’m used to lately. I may have to take you up on it.

Catching up // Frank and Lily

ms-lily-evans-rp:

It was clear he was furious, and understandably so, but she was once again disappointed because this was another person to add to the list of those who didn’t believe her motives, and he was perhaps the one person she had most wished would understand she was telling the truth. But, it was easy to see, unfortunately, that, unless you were there, the whole thing seems fairly questionable. Even Amelia didn’t believe her, and she doubted Potter did, either. “I did just tell you. This is the first time I’ve seen you since two nights ago when it happened, and I’m telling you now, aren’t I?” Something about his accusatory tone made her angry.

The more questions Frank asked, the more upset she became, and the more fiery her temper, which generally wasn’t a good thing for her or whoever was on the receiving end. “I am seventeen-years-old, thank you very much, and if that is too young for your mature, eighteen-year-old self, then that’s your own fault, because you knew that before you kissed me, and I didn’t realize that it made me such a child.” Her face was flushed and her stance aggressive, not at all pleased with this turn of events. “I don’t like being wrong and you know that!” Her breath was shallow and her eyes blazing. She was a bit incredulous, but none of it mattered as he stood there trying to beat her down with her own argument. “The only people there were Potter and Amelia, because Rae left by the time it happened, and I thought it’d shut him up forever if I could prove that I didn’t like him-” She paused, snarling slightly. “No. You know what? You said it perfectly yourself. I shouldn’t have to defend myself if there’s nothing to worry about, and there’s not, because I know I’m telling the truth, and so you’ll either believe me, or you won’t. It’s your mistake if you don’t, not mine.”

She was growing increasingly sick of all of the questions and started spitting answers back at him. “First of all, I didn’t really even kiss him the first time, which was the whole reason I did, because of some rubbish Amelia went on about feeling something when I kiss him, which I absolutely did not. I don’t know what I was thinking when I did it! I mean, beforehand I was thinking about how much I dislike him, and I suppose I was thinking the same thing while it was going on, I don’t really know, nor should it even matter.” Lily snarled slightly, her face and hair practically the same color. “You want me to think of you while I’m kissing the person I hate most? That is just weird. Yes, I thought of you beforehand, even after you left, but no, I didn’t think of you while I was kissing him. That wouldn’t make any sense.”

With a confused feeling about him, he looks at Lily for the first time since they’ve started fighting. He just looked. He didn’t say a thing. His face went red. He scratched his hair furiously because it wasn’t sitting how it should - or so he told himself. He realized that he’d been sweating. It’s then that he reached his arms in the air and removed his sweater. His t-shirt came up slightly. After he took off the sweater, he pulled his shirt down. He still hadn’t said anything to her. He walked across the common room and stopped in front of the fire. He looked in at the flames. He lost himself. All the thoughts in his mind turned into one big mesh of words. He couldn’t understand anything at this point.

His face went back to a normal color as he stood at the fire. What does she expect to come out of his mouth? The fact were these: James kissed her in the Tavern. Lily wouldn’t speak to anyone afterward. It hurt but Frank could’ve dealt with that after the initial shock and nerves. But then she says that AFTER HE LEFT she kissed him again. How can she hate him, as she says, when she helps tutor him after all of that? As it seems to be the norm these days, he didn’t seem to have a clue as to what’s going on.

He stayed quiet, didn’t look at her. This was his only defense.

Drama? Huh.. Glad I’m always tucked away in the library. Away from all that. I just break under all that pressure, Especially with NEWTs right around the corner. I like it when we all get along. We’re best mates. Regardless. *Smiles gently* But I’m sorry about that though.

Catching up // Frank and Lily

ms-lily-evans-rp:

All of a sudden he had calmed down. Now he was trying to make things right, and even apologizing for things that were not his fault. Sure, he shouldn’t have gotten mad at her and accused her of such things, losing all trust in her when, really, he was the one she liked, and she wasn’t sneaking around behind his back. This is what she liked about Frank, he was so calm and understanding. Guilt washed over her as she realized she had to tell him and she had to tell him now. That understanding probably wouldn’t be able to wrap itself around what she was going to admit, despite how truthful it was. “No, don’t be.” She didn’t say it out of thankful nonchalance, but out of a determination that he was about to be even more furious with her.

“I need to tell you something. I know you’re not going to believe me, because it seems like no one does, but just know that what I’m about to tell you is completely and one hundred percent the honest truth. And you can hate me for it and never speak to me again, but please just know that I’m not lying.” Lily sucked in a huge breath and looked him straight in the eyes, hoping that would only reinforce the fact that she was telling the truth. “After you left the tavern, Rae started making all of these comments about shagging, and it was very uncomfortable, and she kept saying all of these really inappropriate things, and it became clear that no one believed I didn’t like Potter.” This was getting harder to admit to than she’d expected, but she held his gaze, determined to make him know she was being honest. “I wanted to prove that I didn’t like him, and we were all drunk, and Amelia suggested I kiss him and claim again that I didn’t feel anything, so… I kissed him.” No, you bloody idiot, you snogged him. “I didn’t feel anything, just as I said originally,” her face was full of shame and she was just waiting for Frank to respond. “It meant nothing, obviously, and he knows that, and I’m hoping everyone else knows that by now, because I sure as heck am never doing it again, and I don’t even think I ever want to drink ever again.” Now all that was left to do was wait and see if he took her word for it, or doubted her along with everyone else.

"Wait—wha—I ca—you—" all he could do was make sounds, nothing coming out of his mouth but half words. Thoughts were swarming his head. He had thought that he’d told her the truth, that’s why he even apologized. "What an idiot I am," he says to himself. It then occurred to him that no one bothered to let him know this piece of information. If "no one believes what happened" that means that people have been talking about it behind his back. He thought he had friends at Hogwarts, but everyone was keeping something from him. If it hadn’t meant anything, then why did no one mention it. It could have been a passing laugh, but it wasn’t. Were people keeping it from me to "protect" me from being hurt? Bollux.

Soon, words start coming to him. “What is this about? I thought it was only that one kiss? Why didn’t you just tell me there was another one? And honestly, how old are you? You just HAVE to ‘prove yourself’ to the others by kissing that prat ANOTHER time? What were you thinking when you did it? Did you think of me at all or just AFTER the fact?”

He was getting upset again. This time, he felt used.
